Is a lightning bolt hotter than the sun?

Yes, lightning is 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun. Lightning can reach temperatures of 30,000 degree Kelvins(53,540 degree fahrenheit) whereas the surface of the sun has temperature of 6000 degree Kelvins(10,340 degree Fahrenheit.

But we are only talking about the surface of the sun which is it's coolest layer. Digging into the core of the sun, you will find temperatures of 15 Million Kelvins(nearly 27 Million Fahrenheits). Lightning is actually a movement of charges which does not have a temperature. But the resistance of the movements of such large amount of charges causes the surrounding to heat up.

Studies show that good conductors of heat do not heat up as much as poor conductors of heat. Air, which is a really poor conductor of electricity reaches temperatures of about 50,000 Fahrenheits when lightning passes through it.

What is the fastest Internet speed ever recorded?

In May, 2020, researchers in Australia claim to have achieved internet speed of 44.2 Terabits per second, the fastest internet speed ever recorded. This unbelievable speed was achieved with the help of a single optical chip called micro-comb that replaces around 80 lasers found in some of the existing telecom hardware. The micro-comb is really tiny, about the size of a fingernail.  At this lightning speed, you can download over 1000 HD (High Definition) movies in less than a second.  Continue reading to know who is/are considered the father of internet? Who performed this test? The lightning speed was achieved by a team of researchers from the Swinburne, Monash and RMIT universities of Australia.  Where did the test took place? The device was planted and tested outside the laboratory with the help of using some existing infrastructure similar to that used by the National Broadband Network(NBN) of the country and is compatible with current NBN's infrastruct...

Nanosecond | Power of Nanosecond | Uses of Nanosecond

A nanosecond (ns) is an SI unit of time equal to one billionth of a second ( 1/1,000,000,000s). A nano-unit is 10 raised to the power -9. One nanosecond is to one second as one second is to 31.71 years. The prefix nano and time's unit second led to the formation of the word nanosecond whose symbol is given as ns. There are still two more units smaller than nanosecond, these are picosecond (1/1,000,000,000,000s) and femtosecond(1/1,000,000,000,000,000s). One thousand nanosecond will make up 1 Microsecond whereas a million nansecond is equivalent to 1 millisecond. The unit nanosecond is generally used in computers to calculate the processing time of RAM and in electrical components.

16 useless information you need to know

 1. What does it mean to have 20/60 vision? Ans- Having 20/60 vision means that you must be at 20 feet to see what a person with normal vision can see at 60 feet. Though people with 20/20 vision can see clearly, this measurement does not include other important aspects of sight like peripheral vision, the ability to see colors or depth perception. 2. Where are the ears on a cricket? Ans- A cricket's ears are on its front legs, just below the knees and they have four acoustic inputs. The openings in the crickets exoskeleton that act as ears lead into chambers inside the legs, which connects to either side of it's body, allowing sound to completely pass through the cricket. 3.
