Although cobras can hear, they are actually deaf to ambient noises, sensing ground vibrations instead.   The cobra is deaf to the snake charmer's pipe, but follows the visual cue of the moving pipe and it can sense the ground vibrations from the snake charmer's tapping. Sometimes, for the sake of safety, all the venom in cobra's teeth is removed.

Chadwick Boseman passed away at age 43 on August 28, 2020, after fighting a four year long battle with colon cancer. Best known for portraying the role of Black Panther in Marvel Studios movies, he won millions of hearts in a lot of other movies like Thurgood Marshall in Marshall, Jackie Robinson in 42 and James Brown in Get On Up. Several fellow actors and celebrities paid tribute to Boseman, most notably the star cast of Avengers. Fans are in disbelief as an immediate news rose up that Chadwick Boseman is no more. In an official post on his social media handles that announced his sad demise, we came to know that Boseman was suffering from Stage III colon cancer, which progressed to stage IV in 2020. Hannibal Hamlin (August 27, 1809 – July 4, 1891) was the 15th Vice President of the United States (1861–1865), serving under President Abraham Lincoln during the American Civil War. He was the first Vice President from the Republican Party.

 In a study carried out at University College London, it was seen that the cerebellum can predict sensations when your own movement causes them but not when somebody else does. When you try to tickle yourself, the cerebellum predicts the sensation and this prediction is used to cancel the response of other brain areas to the tickle. The study shows that two parts of the brain is responsible for the process of tickling, namely the somatosensory cortex, which is responsible for recognizing touch, and the other being anterior cingulate cortex, which processes pleasure.

 In a survey carried out in 1998, it was seen that more than half,  54.4% to be precise, of the population of Iceland believe in Elves, or atleast believes in the possibility of their existence.  Elves are believed to be very small, 36 inches tall atmost, have big ears, wear old-fashioned clothes and they don't wear pointy hats.Near Hafnarfjörður, roads have been diverted around boulders where the elves supposedly reside.  The holidays are a great time of the year to see elves. They are known to be moving at the time of Christmas and New Year, looking for a new home.

Yes, lightning is 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun. Lightning can reach temperatures of 30,000 degree Kelvins(53,540 degree fahrenheit) whereas the surface of the sun has temperature of 6000 degree Kelvins(10,340 degree Fahrenheit. But we are only talking about the surface of the sun which is it's coolest layer. Digging into the core of the sun, you will find temperatures of 15 Million Kelvins(nearly 27 Million Fahrenheits). Lightning is actually a movement of charges which does not have a temperature. But the resistance of the movements of such large amount of charges causes the surrounding to heat up.  Studies show that good conductors of heat do not heat up as much as poor conductors of heat. Air, which is a really poor conductor of electricity reaches temperatures of about 50,000 Fahrenheits when lightning passes through it.
